Preschool Program
Through exposure to developmentally appropriate learning situations and tools with which to learn, we provide an atmosphere that will help your child grow socially, physically, and emotionally. Our goal is to provide and maintain a happy, positive, and safe atmosphere for each child.
Our program strives to help each child develop a healthy self-concept in their new environment and provide each child with many varied opportunities for learning.
Our Approach
The classes are geared to meet the needs and interests of the child enrolled. There is emphasis on social relationships, following directions and listening skills in the three year old classes. In the Pre-K classes, we learn about the world in which they live, in addition to early math and reading skills. Our Transitional Kindergarten is a program designed to give children one more year of learning and growing before entering Elementary School. Our curriculum in those classes is based on experiences with language, music, art, and science. Our program for the two year olds provides socialization skills as well as the opportunity for music and art projects. All classes have a “recess” time and are served a light snack. The Transitional class attends all day and follows a different schedule including recess, snacks, and lunchtime.
